Delete your Bekalah account
This page explains how to delete your account in the Bekalah app (developer: Bekalah) and what happens to your data.
Option 1: Delete your account in the app
- Open the Bekalah app and sign in.
- Go to Settings, then About.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Option 2: Ask us to delete your account
If you no longer have the app installed, send a deletion request with the form below, or email contact@bekalah.com with the subject "Delete my Bekalah account". Write the email address you use to sign in to Bekalah (Google, Apple or email sign-in). We may reply to that address to confirm the request comes from you.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in details (email address, name, profile picture).
- Your profile, favourites and settings.
- The questions, answers and other posts you published in the app.
- Your push notification token.
What we keep, and for how long
We delete your data within 30 days of your request. Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports that cannot be linked to you may be kept. We keep data only where the law requires it (for example, to prevent fraud or abuse).
